THE CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL OF MICHIGAN FOUNDATION WELCOMES LORRON JAMES AS ITS NEWEST TRUSTEE
Detroit, MI – The Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Lorron James to its Board of Trustees.
James, a Detroit native, serves as CEO of James Group International, President of Magnolia Automotive Services (Toyota JV in Mississippi and Indiana) and is President of TLX (Supply Chain Management IT Software), all companies owned by James Group International. James Group International is a is a privately held, minority-certified provider of global supply chain management services that was founded in 1971.

Burns, President and CEO of the Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation. “His widespread community service and development experience; specifically, with children, fits perfectly into the Foundation’s work of improving the health and wellness of children.”
After graduating from Arizona State University in 2005 and James started his professional career with Major League Baseball’s Arizona Diamondbacks before returning to Detroit to learn the family business at James Group International.
James is very active within the community as he serves in multiple capacities for an array of different organizations including Leaders for Kids, an advisory board to the Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation, as well as: The United Way, the Boys and Girls Club of Southeast Michigan, the Detroit Institute of Arts, the Detroit Regional Chamber, and many others.
