Operations Assistant

The Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation (CHMF) is seeking highly-qualified applicants for an Operations Assistant to join its team.

Primary duties and responsibilities of the Operations Assistant include providing executive level administrative support to the Vice President of Operations, the Director of Operations, and other leadership team members as needed. The Operations Assistant also manages the front desk duties such as coordination of coverage, greeting guests, inventory of and ordering of office supplies and maintaining common areas.

Duties also include: composing professional correspondence, forms, reports and creating documents as requested, as well as, processing contributions (data entry, thank you letters, gift acknowledgments) and assisting with processing grant applications, grant agreements, grant payments and final reports. This position maintains the central administrative records and files, such as copies of : contracts, licenses, policies and procedures and other compliance documents as needed.

This position requires an Associate degree or equivalent work experience and (2) or more years of administrative or clerical experience. Qualified candidates will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent analytical and time management capabilities, strong organizational acumen with the ability to multi-task and will have a professional demeanor.
